Description
Learn how to create a gorgeous handwork embroidery design with this step-by-step Lazy Daisy flower tutorial—perfect for beginners who love easy and beautiful embroidery designs! 🌸
In this video, I’ll show you the hoop, fabric, threads, and needle used for this design, along with the thread color codes. I downloaded this beautiful pattern from www.roshanembroidery.com, resized it to fit the hoop, and secured it under the fabric. Since the fabric is a bit dark, I used a clever little trick to transfer the design quickly and neatly — a simple technique you’ll discover as you watch the video!
The stitching begins with the Lazy Daisy Stitch for the flower petals, followed by the Split Back Stitch for the stems. I used the Lazy Daisy Stitch again for the leaves, adding extra beauty to the petals with a slightly darker thread using Straight Stitch. Finally, I gave the flower centers a stunning, textured look by combining the Hanging Oval Stitch and Eyelet Stitch for a unique, eye-catching finish.
This step-by-step tutorial is recorded in real-time so you can easily follow along, and the relaxing sound of stitching makes it even more enjoyable.
