Fantastic Woven Stitch Flower Embroidery

In this step-by-step embroidery tutorial, we’ll create a beautiful woven stitch flower together. As always, I start by showing the exact measurements of the pattern using a ruler, followed by a close-up of the fabric, thread types with color codes, and the needle size used.

 

First, I stitch the stems using the stem stitch (outline stitch). Then, with a thin brow brush, I embroider the leaves using the loop stitch, blending two shades of thread to create a lovely highlight. The edges of the flower petals are beautifully outlined with the chain stitch for a clean and polished finish.

 

Next, I build the flower petals with straight stitches at the base and use the woven picot stitch to bring the petals to life. For the center of the flower, I apply a unique technique, the trellis couching stitch, which adds texture and beauty to the design.

 

This tutorial is easy to follow and includes the name of each stitch, the number of threads, and the exact color codes used in every step—perfect for beginners looking to create something stunning!
