✨ Materials & Tools

 

• Fabric: Green Linen
• Hoop: Nurge Square (Rectangular) Plastic Hoop – Size 3
• Stand: Nurge Embroidery Seat Stand 190-1
• Needle: Tapestry Needle Size 18 (for 6 strands)
• Threads (6 strands, DMC):

– 934 Dark Green – for Back Stitch and Loop Stitches

– 523 Light Green – for Whipped Back Stitch

– 729 Orange – for Leaf Base (Loop Blanket Stitch)

– 225 Light Pink – for Highlight Loops

💡 Embroidery Tips

 

✨ Keep your back stitches evenly spaced to maintain a smooth and elegant line.

✨ While making whipped back stitch, gently pass the thread around the base stitches — don’t pull too tight.

✨ In loop blanket stitch, let the loops stay soft and consistent for a neat, curved leaf base.

✨ The final pink highlight loops should slightly rest over the previous layer to add depth and gentle contrast.
